While Fethiye hasn't much in the way of beaches, its harbour is the departure point for a 12-island daytrip, which takes you around the local bay, stopping at the occasional beach for a dip or bite to eat. If you want a longer cruise, four-day voyages depart from Fethiye to Marmaris and Kale/Olympos. While not particularly cheap, it's hard to picture a more idyllic way to travel.
