Czech Republic in 2-3 days
Spend your time wandering wide-eyed and slack-jawed around Prague, the heart of Czech culture and one of the most stunning cities in Europe. You'll have time to meander around the Stare Mesto (Old Town), cross the stunning Charles Bridge and then explore the Mala Strana (Little Quarter) before heading uphill to the incredible Prague Castle. Don't miss the Jewish ghetto with its six synagogues and the Jewish cemetery.
If you want to escape the tourist hordes, pack a picnic and head to Vysehrad - perched on a hill overlooking the Vltava.
In 7-9 days
About an hour from Prague, Kutna Hora is a pretty UNESCO world heritage town. Here you can visit the rather odd Sedlec Ossuary a small Roman Catholic chapel, located beneath the Cemetery Church of All Saints which contains approximately 40,000-70,000 human skeletons which have been artistically arranged to form decorations and furnishings for the chapel.
Head west to the beer paradise of Plzen. It's here that Pilsner was invented in 1842 and is still the home of Pilsner Urquell.

Also visit the picturesque Cesky Krumlov's on the banks of the Vltava river and marvel at its 13th-century castle before heading north towards the Polish border to marvel at the incredible sandstone rock formation at Adrspach-Templice Rocks.
Brno, Czech Republic's second city and capital of Moravia is also worth a visit for a taste of real city living and a chance to experience its thriving cultural scene.
